What kind of systems do YOU have in place for your business? Dr. Sabrina welcomes the master of systems, David Jenyns, back to the show. When he last sat down to chat with Dr. Sabrina in Episode 54, he revealed the power in having systems set in place for our businesses, particularly when it comes to setting our businesses up for a 4 Week Vacation.
Since then, David has released a new book, SYSTEMology, and on today’s show he and Dr. Sabrina will be digging in to some of the mind-blowing insights from the book and David will be sharing how we don’t need to work harder to reap the benefits of systemizing our businesses.
David’s entrepreneurial journey begins back in his early 20’s when he sold Australia’s most loved sporting ground, the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Since then, his business experience spans from franchising retail clothing stores, to founding one of Australia’s most trusted digital agencies, melbourneSEOservices.com.
In 2016, he successfully systemized himself out of the business, hired a CEO and stepped back from the daily operations. Through this process he became a systems devotee – founding systemHUB & SYSTEMology. Today, his mission is to free all business owners worldwide from the daily operations of running their business.

There are going to be times when things do not go in your favor and you’ll need processes and systems in place.

David takes us through the stages of SYSTEMology. Start by systemizing what IS working. Take the best bits, and make it consistent.
Systemizing is a two-person job. It does not have to be YOU creating the systems.
The goal here is to break your business down into a linear series of steps that your clients move through when working with your business. It should consist of no more than 7–12 steps.
Once you get to the point where you’re no longer the heart of the business, interfering with the daily operations is rarely a good idea.
